Hello! My name is Tony Orlando, and no, I’m not the Tie A Yellow Ribbon Tony Orlando.
If you were born after 1968, you likely don’t know that reference and I am grateful for that!
However, I am the Tony Orlando from Virginia Beach, VA and have lived in the Fairfax area of Northern Virginia since 1998. A son, brother and father of three incredible teenagers, I have wanted to tell stories and write them down for sometime.
I believe we “are our stories.” That is, our lives are made up of our life’e experiences, or stories. Actually, I have many stories to tell in various aspects of my life’s journey and if I can positively impact even one person’s life or business with my experiences, insights and learnings — this site will have served its purpose.
An intrapreneur, entrepreneur and business leader in both the private and public sectors, I am currently the EVP of Market and Client Services at 3Pillar Global. My career has spanned general management, engineering, consulting, professional services, business development and sales across small and medium private companies, as well as ten years in public companies delivering results to Wall Street. Additionally, I am a Principal at eVolve Ventures, LLC, a strategic advisor to small, mid-size, not-for-profit and high growth companies.
Today, it is clear to me that I am blessed in too many ways to count. I didn’t always believe it and I took a lot in life for granted. In hindsight, I’ve probably been searching for my true calling and purpose in life for many of my 46 years.
I feel like I am finally settling into ending my stressful search and rather committing myself to embracing the constant evolution of life. It seems life is indeed full of constant change and we live in an every evolving world. I’ve learned to embrace change and, in fact, am highly motivated by leading change endeavors. Not just change of and for myself, but positive change in other people’s lives and in business. I have led growth and the associated constant change required in ever evolving successful businesses since my first jobs as a teenager.
An accomplished business leader who was afforded great opportunity without truly looking for it, I went with the flow. Sure, I applied myself and worked hard, but I didn’t really have a plan. Turns out as I look back and inventory my life, my highs, my lows, the best and the worst – I am at my best when helping others achieve and accomplish what is important to them. As I look to further eVolve who I am, I look forward to spending more time coaching and helping others.
This site is dedicated to sharing stories. My stories and stories about those valuable lessons I have learned over the years. Stories that I hope inspire and motivate others in both their personal and professional lives. Some stories may be quite opinionated. So, reader beware!
